Sorry…got nothing to say new today….or for the past few days I guess.  Enjoy the silence!

I’ve been around.  This weekend we went to Tyler for one of my niece’s birthday parties.  They had it at Jumpin’ Jacks, which was a lot of fun because the adults get to jump in the inflatable-castle-type stuff too.

Then we went and hung out with mother for a few hours before going to eat with Russell and Melanie (well, she was just waiting on us) at Shoguns.  Then we drove home.

Yesterday (Sunday) we went shopping for Cruise stuff (shorts, shirts, banana hammocks).  We tried to go shopping for ski trip stuff too, but that turned out harder than we thought because the sports places don’t generally carry ski clothes.  I’m sure we’ll find it somewhere though.

So we are going to have two fairly close vacations.  The cruise is December 14th for 7 days I think, and then the ski trip is going to be January 15th for about 4 days.

Well, actually I’m in the process of having some dental work done.  I hate the dentist.  Which, I guess that’s the root cause of the dental work.  Had I gone every 6 months like I should have, I wouldn’t be in this situation now.

I had decay under one of my capped teeth, which required a root canal and a new cap.  Then there was decay under another filling that required a root canal as well, and a cap to be put on that.  Those things were taken care of today, and I will have to go back in next week to get the mold made (or whatever happens) so that the real caps can be made.

All of this started by my wisdom tooth coming in….and yet I still have my wisdom tooth.  I hate the dentist (but would recommend everyone go for checkups twice a year).

Jesse hung out with us all weekend, and two extra dogs.  Saturday we went and saw Tropic Thunder…it’s kinda stupid.  Then on Sunday we went to my dad’s 60th birthday party.  Jesse has pink eye, and it hurts his eye every time he gets out in the sun, so we left him at home for the last one.
